Position Summary

As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering optimal nutrition therapy to a designated group of clients. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive care plans through nutrition assessments, monitoring ongoing medical conditions, and collaborating with other members of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will engage directly with patients and their families, offering support and nutritional education.

***$3,000 Sign-on Bonus***

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
**On Call and holiday coverage as assigned

How Clinical Nutrition Specialists Facilitate Recovery
  • Conduct nutrition assessments for all assigned clients in accordance with established policies and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
  • Deliver group nutrition education as required.
  • Provide active meal coaching and support for clients and their families, including participation in Therapeutic Supported Meals/Snacks as appropriate.
  • Develop nutrition-specific transition and aftercare plans for all clients, ensuring coordination of care through communication with internal and external dietitians.
  • Collaborate with the Nutrition and Culinary Manager and nutrition team for clinical coverage as needed.
Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian credential required.
  • Current license in the state of employment (Georgia) required.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
