Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and manage predictive and preventative maintenance strategies to ensure all production equipment and facilities operate at peak performance.
- Identify and mitigate the factors contributing to unexpected downtime to maximize production output.
- Track and ensure compliance with the monthly and yearly maintenance budget.
- Supervise the installation and modification of new systems, including electrical components, within the manufacturing process.
- Document and design necessary equipment modifications, ensuring all alterations are properly recorded.
- Maintain a comprehensive vendor database and cultivate relationships with suppliers to fulfill maintenance requirements.
- Provide training, mentorship, and development opportunities for maintenance personnel. Oversee and manage the team to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred. Relevant experience in plastics manufacturing may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5-10 years of experience in maintenance management within a plastics manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team of 5-15 staff members.
- Strong expertise in maintenance management, particularly in predictive and preventative maintenance methodologies.
