Position Overview

The Kentucky Personnel Cabinet is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Facility Maintenance Supervisor I. This position is essential in ensuring the upkeep and operational efficiency of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Assessment: Identify and evaluate maintenance requirements, executing basic repairs in plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility-related issues.
  • Work Order Management: Prioritize tasks and ensure the completion of work orders in a timely manner.
  • Resource Management: Order and manage maintenance tools and supplies as necessary.
  • Supervision: Oversee and assist staff in daily maintenance activities, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
  • Inventory Tracking: Monitor the assignment and usage of tools and materials.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of three years in building maintenance, grounds upkeep, or related skilled trades. Formal training in these areas may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
