Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to serve as our **Manager of Support Services**. In this critical role, you will oversee and develop comprehensive support programs designed to empower homeless women and their families to achieve independent living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement effective case management and vocational services based on best practices for women-focused treatment, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff, volunteers, and clients, providing timely feedback and evaluations.
  • Vocational Training: Ensure the availability of vocational training and educational curricula and facilitate residents' participation in vocational testing.
  • Performance Tracking: Collaborate in tracking performance outcomes and participate in staff hiring.
  • Agency Representation: Represent the agency at community meetings, build partnerships, and identify resources.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Identify volunteer opportunities, coordinate with the fund development department, and support the mental health and substance abuse community.
  • Crisis Management: Handle crisis and emergency situations, support clients in the absence of their Case Manager or Employment Specialist, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Experience: Five years of experience providing case management services and vocational services, with three years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of community resources, substance abuse and mental disorders, experience working on an inter-disciplinary team, and experience working with community collaborations.
