The ES Clerk II role entails providing a range of clerical support functions within a service delivery office. Responsibilities include assisting Eligibility Operations staff, processing incoming applications and documentation, and ensuring compliance with required signatures and supporting materials.

Key duties include:

  • Logging applications and assigning them for processing.
  • Returning incomplete applications to clients and aiding in their completion when necessary.
  • Responding to client inquiries and requests for assistance.
  • Maintaining meticulous attention to detail while applying complex policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

Regular attendance and adherence to agency leave policies are required, along with performing additional duties as assigned.

Prepare and review various documents, including correspondence and forms, utilizing a personal computer or typewriter.

Engage in basic communication with colleagues and clients to provide, exchange, or verify information, address inquiries, and resolve issues.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing documents.

Maintain organized records, files, and logs, ensuring efficient retrieval and management of information.

Prepare forms for data entry and assemble materials as needed.

Be prepared to work occasional overtime, including weekends, as required by management.

Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines is essential.
