**Job Title:** Human Resources Associate

**About Us**

The YMCA of Southwest Florida is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Associate to join our team.

**Job Description**

This role plays an integral part in ensuring a quality candidate and employee experience. The successful candidate will conduct a variety of HR functions, including employee onboarding, background screening, benefit enrollment, and certification management. They will also oversee the day-to-day onboarding process for the department.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct employee onboarding, including scheduling interviews, resume review, and communication with candidates.
  • Ensure timely communication with candidates in the talent pipeline to maintain engagement and minimize time to fill.
  • Manage new hire information and accurate data entry in the database.
  • Coordinate employee new employee orientation and job-specific onboarding.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

**Requirements:**

  • Possess a full understanding of employee onboarding, background screenings, and other important processes of the employee life cycle.
  • Experience with benefit administration, including FMLA regulations.
  • Project management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong customer service skills, including telephone, face-to-face, and email communication.
  • Proficiency in business and human resources-related computer applications.

**Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
