About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grants Coordinator to manage the financial and administrative aspects of our grant portfolio. The successful candidate will process financial documents, draft contract agreements, and compile grant documentation, while serving as a primary contact for grant transaction inquiries and distributing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Document Management: Process and approve grant-related financial documents, including invoices, travel/expense reports, and payment requests.
  • Financial System Administration: Assist with setting up fringe benefit and indirect cost rates in the accounting system.
  • Grant Compliance: Provide support with Single Audit preparation, including workpapers and requests.
  • Grant Transaction Support: Serve as the primary contact for inquiries regarding grant transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Distribute monthly financial reports for grant projects.
  • Grant Budget Meetings: Participate in grant budget meetings.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Contract Agreement Management: Draft and edit contract agreements for subrecipients and consultants.
  • Grant Documentation: Compile and prepare supporting documentation for subawards and consultant agreements.
  • Grant Lifecycle Management: Track grant lifecycle stages to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Grant Application Support: Assist with grant application production, including proofreading and formatting.
  • Grant-Related Meetings: Coordinate grant-related meetings with internal departments.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or directly relevant work experience in lieu of degree accepted).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in administration, accounting, grants, or a related field.
  • Electronic Grant Submissions: Experience with electronic grant submissions.
  • Account and Financial Procedure Systems: Experience with account and financial procedure systems, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Grant Application Research and Writing: Experience with grant application research, writing, proofreading, and submission (preferred).
  • CRM Experience: Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM (preferred).
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Uniform Guidance Knowledge: Knowledge of Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200) preferred.
