Job Overview

As an Automotive Retail Supervisor at Ken Towery's Tire & Auto Care, you will play a pivotal role in steering the daily operations of our store while leading a team of dedicated professionals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Development: Cultivate and mentor sales and technical staff to ensure a consistently outstanding customer experience.
  • Sales Achievement: Drive sales performance by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, leveraging in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
  • Customer Engagement: Introduce and promote tire and service offerings to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operational Excellence: Support your team in maintaining a productive sales atmosphere through comprehensive training on store operations and customer service.
  • Staff Management: Oversee staffing needs by managing recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development of team members.
  • Expense Management: Ensure effective control of operational costs, including payroll, utilities, and store maintenance.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned to support store operations.
Management Scope:

This role involves providing daily leadership to all store positions, including Technicians and Assistant Managers, under the guidance of the District Manager.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 2-4 years of proven leadership experience in a retail or sales environment. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to manage financial outcomes while controlling expenses and motivating a team to achieve established objectives.

Work Environment:

Physical Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods is required.
  • Regularly reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending and twisting.
