The Operations Supervisor at BestDrive is accountable for overseeing the daily functions of a retail tire outlet. As the primary point of contact at the location, the Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing both operational and personnel requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store operations, including employee supervision and inventory control.
- Oversee all staff functions to ensure exceptional customer service while upholding the financial integrity of the organization.
- Achieve annual and monthly sales targets to secure profitability.
- Safeguard assets within your jurisdiction, including inventory and equipment, with a focus on minimizing operational costs.
- Recruit, train, and inspire your team members.
- Familiarize yourself with the existing business operating system for billing and sales channels.
- Maintain an acceptable profit margin.
- Enhance staff performance through coaching, counseling, and evaluations.
- Perform various manual tasks, including lifting and moving commercial tires and wheels.
- Lead safety, health, and environmental initiatives by conducting safety meetings and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop effective sales strategies to enhance profitability.
- Engage with commercial truck tire accounts in the vicinity.
- Maintain relationships with existing accounts through regular sales visits and follow-ups.
- Assist in quarterly inventory management while ensuring product security.
- Be available for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as necessary.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday and evening shifts. This position requires working in various indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying temperatures.
Physical demands include standing, bending, climbing, and lifting, with the ability to handle hazardous materials and wear necessary protective equipment.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- 5+ years of experience in the tire industry.
- 2-5 years of experience in managing and leading teams or projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
- College Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in the tire industry.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership roles.
- 3+ years in retail tire sales.
- TIA Certification.
- Knowledge of retread tires.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
