Role and Team

Job Overview:
Reporting to the assigned Manager or Supervisor, the Vehicle Appearance Specialist is an integral part of our production team. This role involves executing the reconditioning process for vehicles designated for auction. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles for auction by performing various reconditioning tasks in accordance with company standards and customer service agreements, including interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, window washing, pre-washing, buffing, and quality assurance.

Evaluate the quality of work completed before advancing vehicles to the next stage of the reconditioning process.
Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities, reporting any breakdowns or maintenance needs to management.
Foster a spirit of teamwork within the department.
Adhere to established safety protocols to ensure the well-being of employees and the protection of property.
Follow safe working practices and report any incidents of injury, loss, or property damage.
Sort and manage cleaning materials, and maintain a tidy laundry area by loading and unloading washing and drying machines.
Respond to and follow appropriate procedures for any accidents or injuries involving employees or customers, reporting all incidents to the Detail Shop Supervisor or Manager immediately.

Driving:
Adhere to company policies when operating vehicles.

Communication:
Possess interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members and colleagues.

Safety:
Promote and follow safety protocols by maintaining a clean workspace and utilizing protective equipment.

Attention to Detail:

Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to ensure vehicles meet company standards before progressing to the next reconditioning phase.


Tools:
Proficient in using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, drills, and cleaning agents.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
1-3 years of experience in automotive detailing is advantageous.
A valid driver's license is preferred, with the ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
A motivated team player who is hardworking and responsible for the quality and quantity of work produced.
Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime.
Qualifications:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Must be capable of physically operating vehicle equipment and tools.
