Job Title: Member Service Representative- Outbound

Amida Care, a leading Medicaid HIV Special Needs Plan in NY, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Member Service Representative- Outbound to join our team. As a key member of our Call Center team, you will be responsible for conducting outbound calls to Amida Care members to provide exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to members to address their inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about Amida Care programs and services.
  • Document all conversations in the call center database and/or CRM system in a comprehensible way.
  • Remind members about pending Care Alerts and seasonal promotions.
  • Triage member concerns and request follow-ups with other departments to assist members with related concerns.
  • Navigate different databases and information warehouses to resolve member issues.
  • Contact and warm transfer members to delegated entities for questions/concerns.
  • Meet Quality Assurance requirements and other call center key performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • One (1) year experience in Healthcare; Member Retention experience preferred.
  • One (1) year experience in Member Outreach/Re-Certification Outreach.
  • Demonstrate experience with Medicaid.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and prioritization skill.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
