Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all personnel to uphold exceptional employment standards that align with the Outback Brand, including recruitment, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels and comprehensive training for all team members in their respective roles.
  • Address customer complaints effectively, aiming to convert dissatisfied guests into loyal patrons.
  • Develop strategies to enhance sales, profitability, and customer footfall.
  • Guarantee that all menu items are prepared according to established recipes and meet presentation standards.
  • Adhere to company policies and service expectations to boost sales while minimizing operational costs.
  • Estimate food requirements and place orders in accordance with established protocols.
  • Manage the profit and loss statements for the restaurant.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance across the restaurant and its premises.
  • Ensure adherence to operational standards with unwavering commitment and enthusiasm.
  • Supervise all administrative tasks related to the restaurant, including cash management and compliance reporting.
  • Promote Outback's Principles and Beliefs consistently within the team.
  • Engage actively with the community, representing the restaurant at local events and organizations.
  • Exhibit high ethical standards at all times, in line with the Company's Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

As a Managing Partner (Proprietor), it is crucial to be reliable, self-sufficient, and passionate about quality food and outstanding customer service. A successful candidate will possess a winning personality, professional commitment, and a collaborative spirit. Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills are vital for this position.

  • Ability to invest in periodic bonuses for the assigned restaurant.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a general manager in a hospitality setting.
  • Eligibility to obtain a state liquor license.
  • Willingness to work in both front-of-house and back-of-house environments.
  • Successful completion of Management Assessment testing.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Previous experience as a front-of-house manager is preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite and Outlook, is preferred.
  • Experience with Point Of Sale systems is preferred.
