Job Title: Managing Partner (Proprietor)

As a Managing Partner (Proprietor) at Outback Steakhouse, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of your restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales and profitability. This is a hands-on management position that requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop their team to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all employees to maintain high employment quality standards, including hiring, development, counseling, promotion, and discipline.
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee files and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure optimal staffing and training of employees in all aspects of their current job.
  • Respond to customer complaints and develop initiatives to build sales, profitability, and guest counts.
  • Ensure all menu items are prepared according to recipe and presentation meets Outback standards.
  • Manage P&L for your individual restaurant and enforce safety and sanitary practices, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee all restaurant administrative requirements, including cash handling, guest liability, property, casualty, workers' compensation reports, and governmental compliance.
  • Ensure Outback's Principles and Beliefs are continually taught and practiced.
  • Provide active community involvement and demonstrate high ethical standards at all times.
Requirements:
  • Dependable, self-reliant, and passionate about good food and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of general manager experience in a hospitality operation.
  • Must qualify to hold a state liquor license.
  • Must be able and willing to work in the front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house.
  • A passing grade in Management Assessment testing.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
