Maintenance Engineer

Vault Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our plant operations team, you will be responsible for planning and designing product applications, assembling project teams, and organizing complex activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in equipment safety, quality of output, and reliability.
- Work Planning and Execution: Develop work plans and instructions for repair or modifications of equipment, and provide technical direction for resolution of equipment malfunction to Maintenance Technicians.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and support the periodic maintenance plan for plant equipment, and participate in project teams and all activities related to increases in Plant Efficiency, Quality, Safety, and cost reductions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and guidance to Maintenance Technicians, and assist in forecasting requirements to create budgets within the Maintenance Department.
- Professional Development: Learn new skills and attend training programs to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry.
- Experience: Two to three years of experience in maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machine design and modification.
- Leadership and Project Management: Ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion of both medium to large magnitude.
- Technical Skills: Exposure to mechanical systems and machinery, including hydraulics and pneumatics, and programming and troubleshooting of programming for PLC, CNC, Vision Systems, Servos, and/or robots.
- Software Skills: Ability to use Auto CAD or similar package, and excellent computer word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills.
- Education: Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
