Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn El Paso Airport. As a key member of our hotel staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supervising a team of Guest Services employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the training and supervision of Guest Services employees, providing coaching and counseling to ensure career and personal development.
  • Motivate staff within all hotel departments to establish a productive working environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
  • Oversee and participate in guest registration, confirming cancellations and modifications as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling staff according to labor standards and forecasts occupancy, assigning daily work tasks and monitoring labor costs.
  • Ensure agents use the appropriate walk-in sales strategy.
  • Resolve guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest, responding promptly to any guest request for service.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures for hotel accounting, credit control, handling of financial transactions, securities of monies, guest security, and emergency procedures.
  • Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner and take appropriate action.
  • Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and effectively communicate them to subordinates.
  • Aggressively recruit and staff department using company hiring standards.
  • Conduct training classes regarding safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines.
  • Maintain rewards recognition systems.
  • Fulfill Manager on Duty shifts.
  • Ensure hotel is in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including EEOC and Wage-Hour laws.
