Front Desk Representative

Job Summary:
The Front Desk Agent at MCR Hotels is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing the administrative processes of our hotels. As a key member of our team, you will provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a positive stay and maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of guest requests, complaints, and problems.
- Operate the front desk computer system, managing room reservations, check-in and check-out processes, and other administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with fellow associates and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Stay up-to-date on hotel rates, packages, and special promotions, as well as in-house groups and high-demand dates.
- Log and deliver packages, mail, and messages, and maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Share knowledge of the property and amenities, local area attractions, and special events with guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including restocking supplies and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to work with a cash register.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Company-approved software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a hotel or related field.
- Brand knowledge and experience preferred, but not necessary.
