About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Leader to join our team as our first VP of Strategy & Business Operations. This individual will play a critical role in helping us solve some of our most pressing business challenges and drive strategic initiatives that propel our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage an integrated business planning process across all functions, including financial forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize business operations to achieve greater efficiency.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve processes and efficiency in the organization, particularly in operations.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for business operations to ensure smooth system functioning and quality output.
  • Oversee our relationship with our outsourced accounting firm, coordinate the delivery of accounting and financial reports, and review incoming invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with various state, federal, and international laws, working closely with external counsel.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to identify, advance, and support cross-company strategic programs that enhance Kira's market position and operating effectiveness.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in strategy & operations, private equity investment banking, venture capital, or management consulting.
  • Comfort with operating in a fast-paced environment and handling ambiguity.
  • Ability to oscillate between strategic considerations and tactical execution.
  • Master problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and professional maturity.
  • Expert proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
