ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


The Global Sustainment (GS) Team at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is in search of a skilled professional to deliver Project Engineering support for the MK 41 Logistics Support Facility.

This team is dedicated to providing MK 41 Logistics Support to the U.S. Navy and allied nations, encompassing testing and repair of VLS depot-level repairable items, installation and checkout supply points, engineering, and field service support for all VLS vessels.
Current Contracts Include:

VLS Design Agent Contract for the VLS Program Office and VLS Fleet Supply Support (Performance Based Logistics) for NAVSUP, serving U.S. Navy and allied users.

The role entails assisting the Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) with induction requests, inventory oversight, project management, budget oversight, and procurement management for NAVSEA clients.

Regular analysis of cost, technical specifications, and schedule execution for selected products will be conducted, with reports generated for clients focusing on meeting delivery commitments.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, or equivalent experience/combined education, with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master's degree.
Considered experienced, yet still eager to learn.

  • Experience collaborating with NAVSEA clients.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with COS for inventory and property management, as well as procurement oversight.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.

Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with standard EVM practices and tools (GRID, Excel, Microsoft Project), schedule management, rolling waves, and EVM cost baselining.
  • Project Management expertise.
  • CAM certification.
  • Completion of EVM training or similar tool training.
