Job Overview

Position Summary:
DT Professional Services is in search of an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer specializing in Electronic Warfare (EW) and EW threat simulation technologies. This role involves contributing to various projects within the Naval Air Warfare Center, focusing on advanced electronic systems and components.

The successful candidate will be stationed at a premier location, engaging in projects that span multiple domains, including Electronic Warfare Integrated Laboratories and Airborne Electronic Attack systems. A strong background in both active and passive RF systems is essential for this position, which requires full-time on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct research, design, and development of EW electronic systems for military and scientific applications.
  • Manage integration and testing phases for electronic product development, including the reprogramming of existing systems and the creation of comprehensive test plans.
  • Analyze testing outcomes to identify root causes of issues related to test equipment and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough testing of systems and products, down to the component level, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Utilize hands-on problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate status reports on project progress and findings.
  • Estimate project timelines and costs while troubleshooting test equipment issues.
  • Oversee production efforts to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Coordinate manufacturing and installation activities to meet compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
  • Perform precise calculations to establish standards for manufacturing and installation processes.
  • Employ computer-assisted engineering software to execute engineering tasks effectively.
Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Active DoD issued Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of an active DoD issued Top Secret Clearance.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Custom Hardware design and Printed Circuit Board development.
  • Familiarity with RF Test Bench simulation systems.
  • Knowledge of Mission Data Programming for military aircraft.
  • Experience with Sensor Engineering for advanced EW systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders and diverse teams.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and model-based systems engineering.
