ROLE OVERVIEW

The Global Sustainment (GS) Team at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is in search of a seasoned professional to offer Project Engineering support for the MK 41 Logistics Support Facility.

This team is responsible for providing MK 41 Logistics Support to the U.S. Navy and allied nations, encompassing the testing and repair of depot-level repairable items, supply point installation and checkout, engineering, and field service support for all VLS ships.

The role involves collaborating with the Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) on induction requests, inventory oversight, project coordination, budget oversight, and procurement management for NAVSEA customers.

Regular analysis of cost, technical specifications, and schedule execution for designated products will be conducted, with reports generated for clients focusing on adherence to delivery commitments.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, or equivalent experience/combined education, with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master's degree.
  • Experience working with NAVSEA customers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with COS for inventory and property tracking, as well as procurement management.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience with standard EVM practices, tools (GRID, Excel, Microsoft Project), schedule management, and EVM cost baselining.
  • Project Management experience.
  • CAM certification.
  • Completion of EVM training or other relevant tool training.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens for consideration.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
