About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our Federal client's HR operations. As a Human Resources Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing various HR activities, including processing personnel actions and providing guidance on HR policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and processing of personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and separations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases, including Official Personnel Folders and performance documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Employee and Labor Relations team to support program initiatives and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters, including pay issues and incentive awards.
  • Develop and implement effective tracking systems to ensure timely reminders and deadlines are met.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience supporting Federal agencies, with a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in automated personnel/payroll systems and procedures, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

FEDSYNC offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
