We are seeking a Nighttime Production Leader for our operations.

In this capacity, you will oversee the night shift plant activities, ensuring efficiency in achieving the desired quality and production volume.


Key Responsibilities:
Guide team members regarding production targets, cost management, quality assurance, and adherence to production timelines.
Ensure the highest quality output at the most competitive cost while adhering to best manufacturing practices.
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Identify and address operational challenges to minimize their impact on productivity.
Collaborate with all departments to foster a cohesive working relationship.
Manage inventory usage and departmental expenses.

Maintain accurate and current records (e.g., timecards, downtime logs, absentee records, etc.). Enforce company policies consistently and fairly.

Encourage employee suggestions aimed at enhancing production, quality, safety, and cost control.
Keep the Operations Manager informed of any operational or personnel issues that may require attention.
Facilitate regular department meetings and maintain consistent communication.
Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of production records.
Document departmental activities as necessary.
Guarantee efficient use of materials, improvement of processes, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
Establish clear accountabilities and performance goals for evaluations.
Perform additional duties as required or directed.

Qualifications:


A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple lines.
Ability to comprehend and interpret regulations and policies in line with company standards.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Capability to enforce relevant regulations and policies effectively.
Ability to cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with other departments and clients.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Skilled in training and motivating team members.
Flexibility to work varied hours based on departmental needs.
Willingness to travel as necessary.
