**Head Lifeguard Supervisor**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Lifeguard Supervisor to join our team at the Town of Flower Mound, TX. As a key member of our Parks and Recreation Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons utilizing our aquatics facility.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce facility rules and regulations, and provide emergency care and treatment as necessary.
- Supervise, hire, train, and schedule part-time/seasonal Lifeguard staff.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and enforcing Lifeguard staff rotation and schedules.
- Recommend and enforce all safety rules and regulations of the aquatics facility to patrons.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks necessary for successful aquatics program operations.
- Assist with managing the operation and maintenance of the pools, and maintain standards of safety and sanitation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is preferred.
- A valid Texas driver's license and driving record must be in compliance with Town policy.
- CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard Certifications are required.
- One (1) year of experience as a Lifeguard is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communicative skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work various hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activities to include running, kneeling, bending, twisting, dragging, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. of various recreational and athletic equipment.
