MITER BrandsTM is a prominent manufacturer of residential windows and doors, offering a comprehensive portfolio for both new construction and replacement markets. Known for our brands such as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGTI, we stand as one of the largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors nationwide. We are seeking a Night Shift Production Manager for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee team members to ensure production targets, cost efficiency, quality standards, and adherence to schedules.
  • Strive to produce top-quality products while minimizing costs through best manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Identify and address operational issues promptly to mitigate their effects on production.
  • Collaborate with various departments to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Manage inventory and departmental expenses effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records, including timecards and downtime logs.
  • Implement company policies consistently and fairly.
  • Encourage employee feedback to enhance production, quality, safety, and cost control.
  • Keep the Operations Manager updated on significant operational or personnel issues.
  • Facilitate regular communication and meetings within the department.
  • Ensure proper documentation of production records.
  • Track departmental activities as necessary.
  • Promote efficient use of materials and continuous improvement of methods to eliminate waste.
  • Set performance goals and accountabilities for evaluation purposes.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within manufacturing, with multi-line responsibilities.
  • Ability to interpret regulations and policies in line with company standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to enforce relevant regulations and policies effectively.
  • Ability to foster cooperative relationships with other departments and clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Skilled in training and motivating team members.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
