Position Overview

As the Aquatics Program Supervisor, you will assist the Manager in overseeing all activities within the Aquatics Department. This includes managing Family Swim sessions, Swim Lessons, Swim Teams, Masters Swim, and additional programs. Your role is crucial in ensuring the department operates safely and efficiently while achieving financial targets. You will be responsible for leading all personnel within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing all Aquatics Team Members.
  • Support the management of the financial aspects of the Aquatics operations to meet or surpass departmental objectives.
  • Ensure that Aquatics Team Members provide a secure and welcoming environment for members and guests.
  • Address all member inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Some college education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
  • 1 year of experience in swim instruction or coaching.
  • A minimum of 2 years of lifeguard experience.
  • Certification as a National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) Certified Pool Operator.
  • Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification.
  • Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer Certification.
