We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our Weather and Catastrophe Claims Services team. As a Claims Adjuster - Deployed, you will be responsible for handling homeowners, commercial, and large loss claims from natural disasters and/or weather-related events.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with insureds to explain coverage and estimate damages
- Provide Remarkable service to customers throughout the claims process
- Travel extensively throughout the U.S. with our Weather Catastrophe Claims Services team
- Reside in or relocate to designated states to meet historical weather demand areas
- Excellent customer service and decision-making skills
- Physical agility to perform tasks such as walking, bending, and climbing ladders
- Ability to utilize equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
- May be required to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training (RAST)
- A valid driver's license is required
- Xactimate and XactContents experience
- Relevant claims adjusting experience and/or construction background
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred or equivalent work experience
