Position Overview:

As a Customer Engagement Representative, you will be essential in our dynamic environment, fostering connections with our varied clientele and ensuring smooth transactions along with outstanding in-store experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and nurture relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

- Accurately assess, validate, and execute customer transactions, including check cashing, money transfers, and payments.

- Proactively enhance customer satisfaction by providing tailored financial services that align with their needs.

- Diligently input and maintain customer data with accuracy and integrity in our Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

- Generate new business through daily inbound and outbound call initiatives.

- Support customer account management and collections by processing payments and overseeing customer appointments.

- Ensure the store's internal and external appearance meets cleanliness standards to elevate the customer experience.

- Adhere to office security protocols and execute proper opening and closing procedures, including managing the vault and cash drawer.

- Comply with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

- Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about our evolving products and processes.

- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks to meet individual and team performance goals.

- Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends. A full-time schedule for this role encompasses a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to enter data accurately.
  • Proficient in using phones, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls such as a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing.
  • Prior experience in cash handling and managing cash drawers/vaults.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is advantageous and may be necessary for specific locations.
