As a Customer Engagement Representative, you will be instrumental in our dynamic environment, fostering connections with our diverse clientele and ensuring smooth transactions along with outstanding in-store experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Accurately review, validate, and process customer transactions, including check cashing, money transfers, and payments.
- Enhance customer success by providing tailored financial services that align with their needs.
- Maintain precise and secure customer information in our Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Generate new business through daily inbound and outbound call campaigns.
- Support customer account management and collections by processing payments and overseeing customer appointments.
- Ensure the store environment is clean and welcoming to improve the customer experience.
- Adhere to security protocols and execute proper opening and closing procedures, including managing cash drawers and vaults.
- Comply with company policies and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about our evolving products and services.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple tasks to meet performance standards.
- Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular attendance, including weekends. A minimum of 40 hours per week is expected for this role.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficient in using phones, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background check required (subject to applicable law).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing.
- Prior experience with cash handling and vault management.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is advantageous and may be necessary for certain locations.
