Job Overview

The Administrative Assistant II plays a crucial role in supporting mid to senior-level management and a team of approximately 15 staff members. This position operates within a dynamic and multifaceted environment, which may involve interactions with customers and executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex administrative tasks, including project oversight, drafting correspondence and reports, and preparing presentations.
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective information exchange.
  • Engage in additional administrative duties such as newsletter development and procurement recommendations.
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and basic database management.

In addition to standard office administrative responsibilities, this role includes two significant tasks: assisting with the organization of an office relocation and managing the distribution of employee recognition awards.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel may be necessary for setting up conference rooms or delivering urgent mail.

Parking: Validated parking is available at the facility.

Dress Code: Business casual attire is expected, with flexibility to wear jeans based on daily tasks.

Education Requirements: A college degree is preferred, though relevant work experience may be considered.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of related experience is desired.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access is required, with a preference for candidates who can quickly learn specific systems.

Work Schedule: Standard day shift from 8 AM to 5 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
