Position: CAD Manager
Salary Range: $101,000 - $120,000

Role Summary:
We are seeking a CAD Manager who is passionate about UL508A control panel design and eager to leverage their expertise in standards and mentorship. This role involves leading a team of CAD Designers primarily working with AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Vault. The CAD Manager will oversee the completion of industrial control panel designs and ensure the maintenance of controlled drawings and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and document electrical schematics, P&IDs, and panel layouts for various projects.
  • Develop and uphold CAD standards and procedures, ensuring compliance across the board.
  • Enhance productivity through customizations and the implementation of automated quality checks.
  • Provide technical support for the seamless transfer of CAD data to production CNC machines.
  • Train internal users on corporate CAD standards, software updates, and best practices to boost efficiency.
  • Offer comprehensive CAD support across the organization.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to share updates and information within the CAD group.
  • Efficiently allocate CAD Designer resources to optimize project workloads.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively to ensure timely project delivery and productivity.

Qualifications:

  1. A 2-Year degree in CAD Technology.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical.
  3. Essential experience in UL508A Control Panel design.
  4. A servant-leadership approach is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to see, perceive colors, hear, speak clearly, and demonstrate dexterity in hands. Must be able to travel for meetings and projects as needed.

Work Environment:
Standard office setting with frequent use of personal computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
