Position Overview:

As a Residential Community Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of a multifamily housing community. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including administration, leasing, maintenance oversight, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily functions of the property, ensuring effective administration and occupancy management.
  • Maintain the physical condition and operational performance of the community to maximize net operating income while upholding high standards of quality and service.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, providing guidance to associates.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels between property staff and corporate management.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Respond to emergencies and coordinate with appropriate regional management or agencies as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of the annual operating budget, analyzing financial reports and vendor contracts.
  • Support the implementation of marketing strategies to attract and retain residents, ensuring compliance with affirmative marketing practices.
  • Engage with prospective residents to assess their housing needs, conduct eligibility interviews, and showcase available units.
  • Manage the collection of rents, ensuring accuracy and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, documenting any damages or unpaid fees.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for an Associate Degree in General Studies. A minimum of 3-4 years of supervisory experience in property management is required. Relevant certifications such as Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) are preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of fair housing laws and property management software.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

This position may require occasional travel as part of the role.
