About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Extended Care in Anchorage, AK. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will work collaboratively with a Cottage nursing team to provide high-quality care to our elderly patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments, assist with care and interventions, and promote a resident-directed care model.
  • Supervise team members, monitor the implementation of care plans, and coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with families and physicians to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility.
  • Supervision and leadership experience.
