About Providence Extended Care

Providence Extended Care is a different type of Long-Term Care Facility - our residents live in a series of cottages, each with their own in-house cook, housekeeper, and nursing team.

Each cottage houses 12 residents with varying acuity levels - our team treats conditions like tracheostomies, dementia, paraplegia, hemiplegia, and more.

Our cottages feature in-ceiling lift systems to assist our team in helping patients to the toilet and shower - we strive to provide equipment to make our caregivers' and patients' lives as easy and comfortable as possible.

Heated sidewalks keep the environment safe in all seasons, and our cottages are surrounded by patios, gardens, parks, and wildlife, providing beautiful scenery during your workday.

We're located close to downtown Anchorage, near lots of great places to eat and recreate. Our caregivers get free bus access, local and national discounts, housing, and relocation assistance and more.

We accept new graduates into our practice and partner with local universities to train students in our facilities, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
