About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to care for our elderly patients in a unique and supportive environment. As a member of our Cottage nursing team, you will provide high-quality care and supervision to residents with varying acuity levels, including those with tracheostomies, dementia, paraplegia, and hemiplegia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments, assist with care and interventions, and promote a resident-directed care model.
  • Supervise team members, monitor the implementation of care plans, and coordinate referrals to other healthcare team members, families, and physicians.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility, including acute care, long-term care, and rehabilitation centers.
  • Supervision and leadership experience.
