Position Overview:

We are seeking a Digital Merchandising Specialist for a leading fashion organization. This role focuses on enhancing the brand's apparel, footwear, accessories, goggles, and helmets categories on Amazon. The Digital Merchandising & Insights Specialist will play a pivotal role in crafting and refining our digital product content on Amazon, ensuring that consumers receive comprehensive details and compelling selling points to boost online conversion rates for our brands. Additionally, this position will contribute to a deeper understanding of the Amazon AFA marketplace through insightful analysis and data interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the brand's product portfolio through training sessions and market engagement.
  • Complete online item setup forms for Amazon to ensure accurate product representation.
  • Lead the creation of new product listings on Amazon across various categories.
  • Optimize existing catalog listings to enhance content quality and organization.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to produce engaging content for product pages and brand stores.
  • Assist in the timely acquisition and management of digital assets and copy requests in collaboration with Account Managers and Directors.
  • Work closely with brand, marketing, and sales teams to ensure effective implementation of product content syndication tools and adherence to content management protocols.
  • Craft online brand and product copy for retail partners, including titles, descriptions, features, categorization, and SEO keywords.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, or content management.
  • 1-2 years of experience with the Amazon platform (vendor/seller central).
  • 2-3 years of copywriting and/or copy-editing experience for consumer products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of VLOOKUPs and macros.
  • Experience in the optical or retail sector is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Strategic, analytical, and creative mindset.
  • Familiarity with marketplace management, particularly on Amazon.
