Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Digital Merchandising Specialist for a leading fashion organization. This role focuses on enhancing the brand's apparel, footwear, accessories, goggles, and helmets category on Amazon. The specialist will play a crucial role in crafting and refining our digital product content to provide consumers with essential details and selling points that drive online conversions, while also contributing valuable insights and analysis of the Amazon AFA marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of the brand's offerings through training sessions and market evaluations.
  • Complete the necessary online item setup forms for Amazon.
  • Lead the creation of new product listings on Amazon for the brand's diverse categories.
  • Optimize existing catalog listings to enhance content quality and organization.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to produce engaging content for product pages, brand stores, and A+ content.
  • Assist in the timely acquisition, delivery, and tracking of digital assets and copy requests in collaboration with Account Managers and Directors.
  • Work closely with brand, marketing, and sales teams to ensure effective implementation of product content syndication tools and adherence to content management protocols.
  • Draft compelling online brand and product copy for retail partners, including product titles, descriptions, features, categorization, and keywords to optimize performance (SEO).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Merchandising, Marketing, or relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, or content management.
  • 1-2 years of experience on the Amazon platform (vendor/seller central).
  • 2-3 years of copywriting and/or copy-editing experience for consumer products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a solid understanding of VLOOKUPs and macros.
  • Experience in the optical or retail industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Strategic, analytical, and creative thinker.
  • Knowledge of marketplace management, particularly on Amazon.
