Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Digital Merchandising Specialist to join a leading fashion organization. This role focuses on enhancing the brand's apparel, footwear, accessories, goggles, and helmets category on the Amazon platform. The Digital Merchandising & Insights Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and refining our digital product content, ensuring that consumers receive comprehensive details and compelling selling points that drive online conversions for our brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the brand's product offerings through training sessions and market analysis.
  • Complete the necessary online item setup documentation for Amazon.
  • Lead the creation of new product listings on Amazon for the brand's diverse categories.
  • Optimize existing catalog listings to enhance content quality and organization.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to produce engaging content for product pages, brand stores, and A+ content.
  • Assist in the timely acquisition and management of digital assets and copy requests in coordination with Account Managers and Directors.
  • Work closely with brand, marketing, and sales teams to ensure effective implementation of product content syndication tools and adherence to content management protocols.
  • Craft compelling online brand and product descriptions for retail partners, including product titles, features, categorization, and keywords to optimize performance (SEO).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, or content management.
  • 1-2 years of experience with the Amazon platform (vendor/seller central).
  • 2-3 years of experience in copywriting and/or copy-editing for consumer products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a solid understanding of VLOOKUPs and macros.
  • Experience in the optical or retail sector is preferred.
  • Strong grasp of the retail landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Strategic, analytical, and creative mindset.
  • Familiarity with marketplace management, particularly on Amazon.
