Position Overview:

We are seeking a Digital Merchandising Specialist for a leading fashion organization. This role is pivotal in enhancing the brand's apparel, footwear, accessories, goggles, and helmets category on Amazon. The Digital Merchandising & Insights Specialist will play a key role in developing and refining our digital product content, ensuring that consumers receive comprehensive details and compelling selling points to boost online conversion rates for our brands. Additionally, this position will contribute to a deeper understanding of the Amazon AFA marketplace through insightful analysis and platform evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the brand's product portfolio through training sessions and market evaluations.
  • Complete online item setup forms for Amazon effectively.
  • Lead the creation of new product listings on Amazon for the brand's diverse categories.
  • Optimize existing catalog listings to enhance content quality and organization.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to produce engaging content for product pages, brand stores, and A+ content.
  • Assist in the timely acquisition and management of digital assets and copy requests in coordination with Account Managers and Directors.
  • Work closely with brand, marketing, and sales teams to ensure the successful implementation of product content syndication tools and adherence to content management protocols.
  • Craft compelling online brand and product copy for retail partners, including product titles, descriptions, features, categorization, and SEO keywords.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Merchandising, Marketing, or relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, or content management.
  • 1-2 years of experience with the Amazon platform (vendor/seller central).
  • 2-3 years of copywriting and/or copy-editing experience for consumer products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a solid understanding of VLOOKUPs and macros.
  • Experience in the optical or retail sector is preferred.
  • Strong grasp of the retail landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and creative thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with marketplace management, particularly on Amazon.
