Business Manager

At USCA, we foster a culture of excellence in research and creative pursuits, and we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Business Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing pre-and post-award activity for approximately 8 to 10 million per annum in external funding, including pre-award advisement, budget development, and submittal of proposals through pre award and post-award financial activity.

Key responsibilities will include analyzing and interpreting complex financial data, reports, policies, and procedures, as well as communicating effectively with all levels of fiscal personnel and establishing and maintaining working relationships with others.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, federal and state policies and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data, reports, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, accounting software applications, and general office technology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of fiscal personnel and establish and maintain working relationships with others.
