The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of full-time, progressive experience managing enterprise-level software development, application software delivery, and support teams. They will also possess 3+ years in a technical supervisory/management role with a development team.
The Business Applications Manager will be responsible for supervising, organizing, planning, and scheduling the work of business analysts, project coordinators, and project managers engaged in process improvement, application lifecycle management, software development, code development, code repository management, and project management.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, application delivery, and technical project management. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with various employees, vendor representatives, officials, and Port management.
The City of Long Beach offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $208,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan.

- Auto Allowance: $550.00 per month
