Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electrical Project Supervisor is responsible for executing job functions with a focus on safety, efficiency, and precision while aiding project management in overseeing and coordinating the electrical team's activities during new construction projects.


Key Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Mentor, manage, and assess project team members.

2. Strategically plan, organize, and direct operations in alignment with the agreed-upon scope of work.

3. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and other trades.

4. Coordinate workflows and participate in meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve potential conflicts.

5. Ensure all installations comply with quality standards and electrical codes.

6. Oversee material and personnel needs to adhere to project timelines.

7. Uphold Zachry's standards for quality, safety, and best practices.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experienced electrician with a minimum of ten years in managing teams and overseeing multi-million-dollar construction initiatives.

2. Valid journeyman or master electrician license.

3. In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and construction safety protocols.

Essential Skills:

1. Strong manual dexterity and aptitude.

2. Excellent reading comprehension.

3. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.

4. Strong communication skills with peers and supervisors.

5. Commitment to Zachry's values and adherence to safety regulations.

Preferred Experience:

1. Current or former employee of Zachry or Zachry ROF'ed.

2. Previous experience with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

3. Prior experience as a Superintendent.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift frequently.

2. Capable of communicating verbally and audibly.

3. Proficient in using hands for various tasks, including signaling, gripping, holding, turning, pushing, and pulling objects and tools.

4. May need to lift and carry items weighing up to 50lbs.

5. Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding while adhering to fall protection protocols.


6. Must be able to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

7. Required to wear PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, ear protection, masks, high-visibility vests, leather gloves, and steel-toed boots.





WORK ENVIRONMENT:

1. Work will occur in diverse weather conditions, ranging from warm to cool temperatures, with occasional rain.

2. Tasks may involve working at various elevations and in confined spaces for extended periods.

3. Noise levels may vary from moderate to high.
