Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current or previous employment with Zachry Group.
  • Experience in the electrical field as a licensed Journeyman Electrician.
  • Certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) for Industrial Journeyman Electrician.
  • Relevant technical education.
Job Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Extensive knowledge of high voltage systems.
  • A minimum of 4 years as an Industrial Electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to manage and direct a team effectively in daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate records related to time, costs, and personnel.
  • Understand basic electrical principles, including ohm's law.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools for cable tray installation and modification.
  • Capable of bending and cutting conduit using various tools.
  • Proficient in cable pulling techniques for installation.
  • Familiar with specialized electrical testing tools, such as ohm meters and multi-meters.
  • Experience in terminating both high and low voltage systems.
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge relevant to new construction projects.
  • Adept at troubleshooting electrical systems and identifying malfunctions.
  • Recognize different types and specifications of electrical cables and wires.
  • Follow instructions accurately and consistently.
  • Demonstrate reliability and accountability in administrative tasks.
  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Commitment to following safety regulations and protocols.
  • Ability to adhere to scheduled work hours and complete overtime as necessary.
