  • Monitor daily operations and provide guidance to foremen and team members regarding labor techniques and necessary resources.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with project foremen to ensure ongoing productivity and address any challenges.
  • Advise teams on safety protocols, assisting in supervision to uphold a secure work environment.
  • Work closely with superintendents, project managers, engineers, and quality control inspectors to devise solutions for project-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of progress and costs to aid project management in evaluating work efficiency.
  • Lead safety meetings with foremen and employees, focusing on work conditions and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • Prior experience with Zachry Group is essential.
  • A minimum of 6 years as an Industrial Electrician is required.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience is necessary.
  • Possession of all relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the role.
  • Ability to meet all physical demands of the position.
  • Capability to work at heights exceeding 300 feet.
  • Must have access to all required tools.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Skills
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Demonstrated experience with high voltage systems is required.
  • Experience managing and leading teams of electricians and helpers in daily operations.
  • Ability to maintain records related to time, cost codes, equipment, and personnel.
  • Skilled in installing and modifying cable trays using various tools.
  • Proficient in bending and cutting conduit with hand and power tools.
  • Experienced in cable-pulling techniques for running cables through designated pathways.
  • Familiarity with specialized electrical tools, including ohm meters and multi-meters.
  • Competent in terminating both high and low-voltage equipment and wiring.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge relevant to new construction projects.
  • Adept at troubleshooting electrical systems and identifying malfunctions.
  • Ability to recognize different types, gauges, and colors of wires and cables.
  • Reliable and consistent in following administrative processes.
  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures is essential.
  • Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations.
  • Punctuality and commitment to the designated work schedule are crucial.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous employment with Zachry Group is preferred.
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician status is advantageous.
  • NCCER certification for Industrial Journeyman Electrician is a plus.
  • Formal or technical education in a related field is beneficial.
