Visual Communications Instructor Opportunity

InsideHigherEd is seeking a dynamic Visual Communications Instructor for our Corporate & Continuing Education department. The instructor should have professional experience and be able to teach classes on topics such as Design Principles, User-Centered Design, and Web Design Principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1-2 day classes on Adobe Creative Suite emphasizing InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
  • Use real-world examples to explain concepts
  • Conduct training at our campus for a professional audience

Course Titles:

  • Mastering Design Principles
  • Introduction to User-Centered Design
  • Photoshop Essentials & Beyond
  • Beginning Web Design Principles
  • Creating Newsletters and Multi-page Designs

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of field experience
  • Training experience
  • Experience in a professional training environment (preferred)
