This is an in-office position in West Des Moines, Iowa, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources, recruitment, and business development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to design and implement effective recruitment strategies, ensuring a diverse and high-quality candidate pool.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business growth and improve employee engagement.
  • Design and execute onboarding programs that foster a sense of community, promote cultural awareness, and set new hires up for success.
  • Work closely with the Talent Programs Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Coordinator to post jobs, schedule interviews, process new hire information, run background checks, and conduct candidate exploration calls.
  • Assist in creating content for our internal TV channel, highlighting company news, achievements, and employee spotlights.
  • Facilitate new hire events and participate in various onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Coordinate our annual Insurance Careers Exploration Event for high school and college students, showcasing the opportunities and benefits of a career in insurance.
  • Contribute to other projects and initiatives, leveraging your creativity and problem-solving skills to drive business results.

**What We Offer:**

  • A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

**Requirements:**

  • Current student working toward a degree in human resources, business administration, communications, psychology, or a related field.
  • Passionate about learning new things and tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software.
  • Effective communicator with exceptional writing skills, essential for creating engaging content and facilitating successful onboarding programs.
  • Ability to work in-person from West Des Moines, Iowa, and participate in corporate activities that promote cultural awareness and team building.

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis.
