Opportunity Overview:

  • Location: Deer Park, TX
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday / 40+ hours

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering
  • Over 7 years of experience in production, maintenance, quality, and direct leadership within the chemical manufacturing sector
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement and problem-solving expertise
  • Driven, results-oriented, and proactive work ethic
  • Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Outstanding communication and conflict resolution abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing work procedures and instructions to guarantee safe and efficient task execution, including safe work permits and lockout/tagout protocols
  • Creating and executing foundational processes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production
  • Formulating both long-term and short-term Tactical Improvement Plans (TIP) for the production department, integrating them into the annual Site TIP, focusing on development, recruitment, productivity, quality, efficiency, and HSE enhancements
  • Ensuring compliance with all site procedures, work instructions, and relevant regulations. Leading by example
  • Managing adherence to production budgets and achieving annual improvements. Ensuring compliance with production planning and BOM
  • Owning the performance management process in production: planning, reviewing, and taking necessary actions
  • Maintaining adherence to budget and production schedules
  • Ensuring the availability and utilization of MACs, driving the reduction of discrepancies between MAC and actuals
  • Executing primary work processes and foundational elements (performance management, 5S, SWS) in production, with oversight from Process Confirmation
