Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:


We are seeking a dedicated Aerospace Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily operations of our CNC machining facility.

This role provides the opportunity to lead a team of skilled CNC machinists, engage with state-of-the-art machinery, and contribute to the production of high-quality aerospace components.


Key Responsibilities:


As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be instrumental in supervising and coordinating the daily activities within our CNC machine shop.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating the work of CNC machinists, ensuring compliance with production timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Programming and operating CNC machinery, utilizing Mastercam software to manufacture precision components.
  • Implementing and upholding the AS9100 quality management system to ensure adherence to aerospace industry standards.
  • Employing CAD/CAM software for part design and manufacturing planning.
  • Training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Quickly troubleshooting and resolving machine and production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating with departments such as Engineering and Quality Assurance to enhance production processes and product quality.
  • Conducting regular performance assessments, providing constructive feedback, and implementing necessary corrective measures.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment by enforcing established procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a CNC machining environment.
  • Expertise in CNC programming and operation, with a solid understanding of Mastercam or similar software.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems and aerospace manufacturing standards.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software for part design and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement.
