LOCATION: This role is based in Stockton.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Support Specialist is tasked with promoting parts and service sales within a designated area. Collaborating with both internal and external clients, the specialist will ensure outstanding customer service in our expanding market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster and enhance relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Assist clients in identifying repair solutions and options.
  • Oversee projects and job management.
  • Handle assigned accounts, including credit, billing, payments, and orders.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and equipment inventory in our CRM system.
  • Deliver prompt and precise quotes for parts and services.
  • Engage with internal and external clients in a timely manner.
  • Travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret various business publications, professional journals, technical guidelines, or governmental regulations.
  • Proficient in drafting reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Capable of effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries from groups of managers, clients, and the public.
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculating discounts, interest, commissions, and other financial figures.
  • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written or verbal formats.
  • Competence in resolving issues involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic computer and typing skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.S.E.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical institution; or a minimum of four years of combined experience in sales and service-related roles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or listen. The employee frequently must stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Occasionally, the employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While executing the duties of this position, the employee frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. The employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious locations.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 Annually

Compensation is based on Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
