Salary Range$80K - $100K based on experience
Key Responsibilities- Engage in technical discussions with customers, potential clients, internal teams, and industry associations.
- Develop a thorough understanding of cement performance and quality at production and distribution sites.
- Effectively communicate customer issues, requirements, and potential opportunities to sales and operations teams.
- Collaborate with various agencies to address specifications.
- Provide technical training and updates to sales and operations staff as necessary.
- Work with Central Laboratory personnel to conduct customer service testing, including raw material evaluations and experimental product testing.
- Coordinate with management on matters related to cement quality, new product introductions, and specification changes.
- Participate in quality control meetings at cement facilities and relay customer feedback regarding quality needs.
- Travel may be required within designated regions.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Qualifications- 7-10 years of experience in technical services within the cement/concrete or construction materials sectors.
- Ability to engage in discussions about industry trends and product knowledge with diverse audiences.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Proficient in influencing and facilitating decision-making processes.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- A collaborative team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Clean driving record for the past five years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with public entities, such as state and local governments.
- Background in construction or manufacturing of construction materials.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and a background check. Some positions may require ongoing drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
