Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Clerk/Interpreter to join our team at Triumph Foods, L.L.C. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide administrative support and assistance to our HR managers, customers, and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide daily support to our HR managers, including preparation of various business reports and materials requiring a high level of confidentiality.
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, screen calls, and take messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Special Projects: Perform special projects as assigned by our Director of HR, Manager of HR, and other executives.
  • Reporting: Compile internal reports and revise and update reports as necessary.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and timely report problems or deficiencies with recommendations for resolving them.
  • Relationship Building: Develop a collaborative relationship built on mutual trust with senior management and other personnel.
  • Auditing: Perform audits on employee personnel records and files, data entry, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Data Entry: Complete timely and accurate data entry on all status changes, employee actions, and attendance.
  • Correspondence: Type correspondence as needed.
  • HR Counter Support: Assist at the HR counter during peak activity times.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain complete confidentiality regarding all information.
  • Language Support: Provide interpretation in the Spanish language for communication with employees regarding employee actions, attendance, questions, and other matters.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; computer literate with experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet-based web applications.
  • Knowledge and Skills: General office skills, including filing, data entry, letter composition, and customer service. Ability to work varied schedules, including periodic Saturdays, and work without immediate supervision.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents in English and Spanish, including safety files, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Must communicate effectively with USDA, production, and management personnel.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
